Daniel Keller, DirectorMr. Daniel Keller is the founder and President of Swiss Consulting Co, Ltd., a Hanoi-based provider of executive counseling services and venture opportunity screening for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). His company is also specialized in institutional assessments, evaluations and project management services in the field of development cooperation. Mr. Keller started his professional career in 1991 as a secretary in a District Court in Switzerland. Prior to establishing Swiss Consulting in 2001, he was the General Manager of Ringier – Thong Nhat Joint Venture Company, the first foreign-invested printing company in Vietnam. Mr. Keller has earned a Master’s Degree in Law in Switzerland and an MBA in the United States. Mr. Keller is a Director of Mekong Enterprise Fund. He is also a member of Mekong Enterprise Fund’s and Mekong Enterprise Fund II’s investment committees. Zachary A. Wydra, DirectorMr. Zachary Wydra is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Beck, Mack & Oliver where he manages a portion of the firm’s $4.8 billion of assets under management. At Beck, Mack & Oliver, Mr. Wydra is responsible for allocating capital to both public and private investment opportunities. Prior to that Mr. Wydra was employed at Water Street Capital, a long/short, US equity hedge fund where he worked as an analyst. He also has experience in private equity, having worked as an associate at Graham Partners, a middle market LBO fund. Mr. Wydra began his career at BT Wolfensohn, where he was involved in mergers & acquisitions and corporate advisory work. Mr. Wydra has a BA from Brown University, a MA from Columbia University and a MBA from The Wharton School. Mr. Wydra is a Director of Mekong Enterprise Fund II, and an observer at meetings of the investment committee of Mekong Enterprise Fund II. Dean Van Drasek, DirectorMr. Dean Van Drasek is an Executive Director with the fund management firm of LIM Advisors, based in Hong Kong, invested exclusively in Asia. He co-manages the high yield and special situation investment portfolios for a number of LIM’s funds. Before embarking on a career in fund management, he spent 12 years in investment banking in Asia, serving as Co-head of Asia for Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin (a US investment bank specializing in debt restructuring), Managing Director with Bank of America, and as Director of Credit Agricole Indosuez (previously known as W.I. Carr and Carr Indosuez). In the latter position, he also headed the Equity Capital Markets Division and Country Funds Division for a number of years. Mr. Van Drasek has spent over 18 years in Asia, and has lived in Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, S. Korea (where he was a Foreign Legal Counsel with the firm of Shin & Kim), Indonesia and Singapore. Mr. Van Drasek graduated from the University of Michigan Law School and has an undergraduate degree from Valparaiso University and as part of his undergraduate studies program attended Kansai Gaikokugo Daigaku, in Japan. Christoph Avenarius, DirectorMr. Christoph Avenarius is responsible at Credit Suisse Asset Management for Alternative Investments that either focus on emerging markets or L/S equity strategies. Prior to joining Credit Suisse in 2003, Mr. Avenarius worked in the treasury and international markets departments of BMW, HVB and ABB as derivatives trader of currencies, yield and credit curves. At HVB, he was Head of Emerging Market Trading and at ABB he co-headed the internal hedge fund in Zurich. From 1983 to 1992 he studied physics and philosophy in Munich (LMU), Bangalore (I.I.Sc.), and Granada, before receiving his doctorate from Oxford University as Rhodes Scholar. Ryan Caldwell, AdvisorMr. Ryan Caldwell is the Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Waddell & Reed Investment Management and Ivy Investment Management. Mr. Caldwell graduated from Southwest Texas State in May 1997 with a BBA in finance. Prior to joining Waddell & Reed, Mr. Caldwell was affiliated with DeMarche Associates. From June 1997 to January 2000 he was a mutual fund analyst for George K. Baum and Company. Mr. Caldwell joined Waddell & Reed in July 2000 as an economic analyst. In January 2003 he was appointed to investment analyst. In June 2005, Mr. Caldwell was named Assistant Vice President and Assistant Portfolio Manager of the Waddell & Reed Advisors Asset Strategy Fund, W&R Target Funds Asset Strategy Portfolio, and Ivy Asset Strategy Fund. Mr. Caldwell was named co-Portfolio Manager of the Asset Strategy portfolios in January 2007. His investment research responsibility is concentrated in capital markets. Mr. Caldwell is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Richard Webb, AdvisorMr. Richard Webb is the Chief Executive Officer and majority shareholder of Metage Capital Limited, with overall responsibility for the firm's trading and investment management activities. He has 20 years of experience in trading, investment management and research, covering fixed income and equity markets. At the time Metage was formed, Mr. Webb was a Director in the Leveraged Funds Group at Credit Suisse First Boston (Europe) Limited, responsible for equity fund management. Previous positions include seven years with Buchanan Partners, a London based proprietary trading and fund management organisation, where he was the Head of Trading and a member of the Board. Mr. Webb holds an M.A. in Mathematics from Oxford University and is a CFA charterholder. Kay Huang, AdvisorMs. Kay Huang is a Research Analyst with the Treasury office at the University of Washington in Seattle, USA. The Treasury Office at University of Washington is responsible for the investment of its endowment, operating, planned giving and insurance funds, with total asset size over $3 billion at the end of June 2007. The Endowment is invested in a diversified mix of traditional and non traditional assets, including domestic and international stocks and bonds, venture capital, private equity, real estate, commodities and hedge funds. Ms. Huang has 5 years of experience in the finance industry, covering investment and auditing roles. Prior to joining the University of Washington in 2005, Ms. Huang worked as an auditor at Deloitte Touche. Ms. Huang holds a BA from National Taiwan University, an MBA from University of Washington, and passed Level III of CFA exam. Sam Smith, AdvisorMr. Sam Smith is a Senior Research Analyst with the Treasury office at the University of Washington in Seattle, USA. The Treasury Office at the University of Washington is responsible for the investment of its endowment, operating, planned giving and insurance funds, with total asset size over $3 billion at the end of June 2007. John Simon Heneghan, AdvisorMr. John Simon Heneghan oversees a large alternative investment portfolio of hedge and private equity funds for Equity Group Investments, LLC. In addition, Mr. Heneghan is President and founder of Servant Financial, Ltd., a registered investment advisor. Mr. Heneghan is a CPA with a varied and extensive finance background. He was CFO for CNA Surety from 1997-2003 and Controller of Capsure Holdings from 1994-1997, two NYSE listed insurance companies. Mr. Heneghan worked for Deloitte & Touche from 1984-1994 through Senior Audit Manager. He received a B.S. in Accounting in 1984 from the University of Illinois. |
