Nam Hoa is a leading Vietnamese manufacturer of wooden toys intended for children aged between 1 to 10 years old. Products

Nam Hoa produces wooden toys for preschool children. Its products are primarily for educational and development purposes or children's furniture, including cubic toys, wooden blocks, doll houses with furniture, animal trains, wooden fruit sets, sorting boxes, puzzles, miniature roller coasters, baby strollers, children's tables, children's chairs, and many other wooden toys and children's furniture.

 

Markets

Historically the company exported most of its products to Japan and Korea but is increasingly adding new customers in Europe and the U.S.

Nam Hoa is very committed to comply with toy safety standards and to maintain a high level of product quality. Consequently, Nam Hoa has a corporate culture which is very much focused on quality and this is well diffused throughout the middle and senior management. The high level of awareness of, and commitment to, quality is a competitive advantage of Nam Hoa which has allowed it to attract prestigious customers from Japan, Korea, US and the E.U.

Nam Hoa received ISO 9001:2000 certification from TUV CERT under TUV Anlagentechnik GmbH in 2002. In the same year, the Company also received the GS Mark certification (including European Toy Safety Standard EN.71-1-2-3-6 and CE Standard) from TUV Rheinland Product Safety GmbH, Germany. All of these certifications were renewed in 2004.

 

History

The predecessor company of Nam Hoa was first established in 1993 as a trading enterprise. The Company started to manufacture wooden toys and export its products to Japan in 1995. In 1996, Nam Hoa started to export to Korea. In 2000 the Company relocated its factory to District 12 as the production increased. In the same year, export markets were expanded to Europe. More recently, the company has commenced an expansion into the U.S. market.

Nam Hoa has 2 separate factories in Ho Chi Minh City's District 12. The second factory commenced operations in late 2004.

Nam Hoa currently has around 800 employees. Revenues in 2006 is $3,2 million while revenues in 2007 is expected to exceed $4 million.
