Minh Phuc Manufacturing & Trading Joint Stock Company

Minh Phuc is a rapidly-growing Vietnamese packaging printing company, specializing in printing paper-based packaging, metal foil, labels and envelopes. Minh Phuc has modern printing equipment and utilizes both offset and rotogravure printing technologies.

Minh Phuc's revenues in 2007 was $10 million, an increase of approximately 31% compared to 2006.

The Mekong Enterprise Fund made an investment in Minh Phuc in November 2004, September 2005 and October 2005. Minh Phuc's revenues have grown by 150% over the period that Mekong Enterprise Fund has been an investor.

Package Printing

Minh Phuc prints, cuts and stamps boxes used for consumer products such as cigarette cartons, cigarette boxes and bakery products. The Company’s offset printing machines give it a the flexibility and ability to cater for small to medium size orders. Meanwhile, the company uses rotogravure printing for high volume requirements. The company supplies companies such as Saigon Tobacco, Dong Nai tobacco, Kinh Do Corporation and numerous other consumer product manufacturers in Vietnam.

Printing Aluminum Foil and Labels for Beer Bottles

Rotogravure printing machines are used to print the metal foil which covers the caps on bottles of numerous brands of beer. Minh Phuc also produces paper-based labels for beer bottles using offset printing technology. Minh Phuc is currently the largest manufacturer of printed beer foil in Vietnam. Minh Phuc supplies companies such as Saigon Brewery, Hue Brewery, Ben Thanh Brewery and numerous other breweries in Vietnam.

Envelopes

Minh Phuc also manufactures self-adhesive envelopes, both in generic form and also customized for particular corporate customers.

History

Minh Phuc was established in 1998, originally focusing mainly on importing raw materials for the printing industry. It’s current production facility in District 8 was opened in 2003. Minh Phuc received ISO 9001:2000 certification in October 2003. Minh Phuc is currently undergoing various expansion projects which are expected to support the company’s continuous rapid growth rate.
